Well why not combine a ski holiday with a SnoFestival on the slopes?

Sounds too good to be true? Live music and skiing is becoming quite popular and there are quite a few snow music festivals on offer this winter.

Snowboxx is a five day long party in Avoriaz, Portes du Soleil which combines headline music acts, après ski, on and off mountain activities plus you get a day’s skiing in as well! This winter the dates are 18^th to 25^th March 2017 and accommodation will get booked out quite quickly in the area – so book in now!  Avoriaz has lots of low cost self catered apartments to choose from as well as packaged holidays.

Or do you fancy an early ski in Austria?  Saalbach Hinterglemm has BergFestival in early December 2016 which features more of a rock lineup.

Rock The Pistes is all across the Portes du Soleil, France & Switzerland, from 19^th to 25^th March 2017 featuring less mainstream bands.  A lot of the stages can be only accessed by ski or snowboard!

In Switzerland, Crans Montana has Caprices Festival in April with diverse music from hip hop, RnB, rock, pop and even electronic music over 4 days on 3 stages.

Horizon Festival in Bansko, Bulgaria is over a long weekend in early March and is based around 9 venues in this ski town.  Combine the excellent ski prices of Bansko with a very competitive festival priced ticket and everyone is happy.
