Chalet Norel is a beautifully restored 1833 farmhouse that combines traditional alpine character with contemporary luxury. Situated in the sought-after Les Houches area of Mont Blanc, it enjoys a prime ski-in/ski-out position directly on the Kandahar World Cup piste, offering guests unrivalled access to the slopes and a truly authentic mountain setting.
Spanning 360 m², the chalet provides four elegant double or twin bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom, along with a spacious bunk room featuring four full-sized beds. The open-plan living space is the heart of the home, centred around a cosy fireplace and complemented by a gourmet kitchen, making it the perfect place for family gatherings or evenings with friends. A mezzanine area offers a relaxed media and chill-out zone, while the private spa invites guests to unwind with a sauna and steam room after a day in the mountains.
Generous terraces surround the property, creating inviting spaces to take in the fresh alpine air and sweeping views. Essentials
Chalet Norel is set in Les Houches, on the Kandahar World Cup piste, offering a true ski-in/ski-out experience just a short drive from Chamonix Centre. The area is known for its family-friendly atmosphere and beautiful tree-lined slopes.
The chalet sleeps up to 12 guests, with four double/twin bedrooms and a spacious bunk room with four adult-sized beds. Three of the bedrooms feature private en-suite bathrooms, while the bunk room and one of the double/twin bedrooms share a Jack and Jill en-suite, making the layout ideal for both families and groups.
Guests can relax in the private spa, which features a sauna, steam room, and a seven-seat Jacuzzi with panoramic views over the Chamonix Valley and Mont Blanc Massif.
Absolutely. In winter, guests can ski directly from the chalet onto slopes that are perfect for families and advanced skiers alike, while in summer, hiking and biking trails are right on the doorstep.
In winter, the road across the piste remains open, allowing access by car, although snow tyres or chains are highly advisable. During summer, the chalet is easily reached via the Route du Col de Voza.

Chalet Norel is ideally located at Route du Col de Voza, 74310 Les Houches, in the heart of the Chamonix Valley. This exceptional setting offers true ski-in/ski-out access, directly onto the famous Kandahar World Cup slope, “La Verte,” just above the iconic “Saut de la Route.” Despite its peaceful and private alpine surroundings, the chalet is only a five-minute drive from the village centre, where guests can enjoy local restaurants and amenities. The vibrant centre of Chamonix is just twelve minutes away by car, offering a wider array of shops, dining, and cultural attractions, while the Le Brévent ski area is also easily accessible within twelve minutes. With its combination of convenience, privacy, and stunning mountain vistas, Chalet Norel provides the perfect base for exploring the Chamonix Valley in both winter and summer.
