Chalet Debussy, recognised by The Telegraph as one of the 10 most beautiful chalets in the Alps, is a truly exceptional retreat in Montriond. Set within a 200-year-old farmhouse that has been meticulously renovated, it combines Alpine charm with contemporary luxury. The chalet accommodates up to eight adults and seven children across two junior suites and two spacious double bedrooms, all with en-suite facilities. Sharing a front door with Chalet Bizet, it can be combined with its neighbour to host up to 24 guests across seven ensuite rooms.
Every detail of Chalet Debussy has been carefully considered to create an atmosphere of comfort and sophistication. The bedrooms are individually designed to offer both privacy and style. The Reverie bedroom is perfect for a couple or solo traveller, featuring a south-facing balcony ideal for morning coffee or evening drinks. The Bergamasque suite provides a family-friendly layout, with a separate children’s room containing three bunk beds and its own balcony to enjoy the mountain vistas. Upstairs, the Papillon bedroom offers a luxurious retreat with a large bath, walk-in shower, and optional sofa bed for children. The Caprice bedroom exudes character and farmhouse chic, with dark wood features and a mezzanine for children to play or sleep.
The chalet’s top-floor living area is a masterpiece of design and functionality. A suspended fireplace creates a striking focal point, while large French windows open onto a south-facing balcony with uninterrupted views over Morzine and Pointe de Nyon. The open-plan space incorporates a dining area with a 200-year-old table, perfect for shared meals, and a cosy raised snug framed by original wooden beams for relaxing with drinks.
Chalet Debussy offers a private hot tub and shared use of a sauna with Chalet Bizet, providing ultimate relaxation after a day on the slopes or exploring the mountains. Other amenities include a ski and boot room, Wi-Fi, TV with Netflix, and an EV charging point. Fully catered during winter, Chalet Debussy serves indulgent dining experiences, while in summer it operates as a self-catered retreat. Chalet Debussy comfortably sleeps eight adults and seven children across two junior suites and two spacious double bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms. The chalet shares a front door with Chalet Bizet, allowing larger groups to rent both properties together for up to 24 guests in seven ensuite rooms.
During the winter season, Chalet Debussy is available as a fully catered chalet, offering indulgent dining experiences including children’s menus served earlier than adult meals. During the summer, the chalet operates as a self-catered retreat, allowing guests to enjoy the space at their own pace.
The chalet is a 10-minute drive from the Ardent lift in Montriond, which provides access to Avoriaz and connects to the expansive Portes du Soleil ski area, including Châtel and Swiss resorts.
Chalet Debussy boasts a striking suspended fireplace, expansive living areas, a raised snug, a private outdoor hot tub, and shared access to the sauna with Chalet Bizet. Additional amenities include Wi-Fi, a TV with Netflix, a fully equipped ski and boot room, and an EV charging point. In summer, the hot tub is available as an optional add-on for €200, while in winter, guests may choose to opt out for a €200 reduction on their booking.
Chalet Debussy features two junior suites—the Bergamasque Suite and the Papillon Suite—both with spacious en-suite bathrooms and family-friendly layouts. The Bergamasque Suite includes a separate bunk room for three children, while the Papillon Suite offers a convertible sofa for two children. The other bedrooms, Reverie and Caprice, also have en-suite facilities, with the Reverie bedroom configured as a double and the Caprice bedroom featuring a mezzanine above the main bed. This arrangement allows the chalet to comfortably accommodate eight adults and seven children. Families can enjoy the outdoor hot tub, shared sauna, and generous living spaces, making Chalet Debussy a perfectly relaxing and versatile retreat for guests of all ages.
Yes, due to licensing, only alcohol purchased on the premises may be consumed. However, a 24/7 honesty bar and complimentary house wine are available at any time. For the shared Driver Service, between 11 am and 4 pm, one hour’s notice is required.
