The 2015/16 ski season has got off to a fantastic start with several more ski resorts opening this weekend across the Alps.
Snow started falling above mid-stations early November with last weekend seeing heavy snowfall for the first time in the resorts themselves. Freezing temperatures, some as low as -10 have ensured this early base was easily preserved and many resorts home runs are already allowing backcountry skiers to ski ‘home’, before officially the slopes even open.
