Don’t miss out!  Extra Eurostar train tickets for February Half Term on sale TODAY!

When Eurostar released their tickets for February Half Term in July; they were sold out in seven minutes!! There is such a large demand this year Eurostar are adding extra trains for February Half Term (they last did this 10 years ago). 

Departure days – Two extra outbound trains from London St Pancras are scheduled.  One is leaving Saturday 11^th and the next Saturday 18^th February in the evening so you reach the slopes on Sunday morning.  This is excellent as many chalets have Sunday to Sunday changeovers this year, so you will have an extra day on the slopes.  But please be aware the Eurostar overnight does not have Couchettes (sleeping berths) on board so you could be quite tired by the time you arrived in the Alps.

Depart   London 19:42 – Ashford 20:28 – Moutiers 5:34 – Aime La Plagne 5:58 – Bourg St Maurice 6:17

Return travel – The return journey is on Sunday 12^th or Sunday 19^th February in the morning so you arrive back in London in the afternoon.  Return fares are from £309 pp return and include 2 suitcases, hand luggage plus skis or snowboard at no extra cost.  So this can work out quite economically for half term.

So where can you go?  Important question but there are quite a few major & smaller resorts accessible from the Eurostar’s key stops at Aime La Plagne, Moutiers and Bourg St Maurice stations.  Ski in Meribel, Courchevel, Les Arcs, La Plagne and Tignes very easily plus many chalets will pick you up from the station, let you leave your luggage and set you off skiing for the day.
