Chalet Rivière is a stylish riverside retreat in Montriond, surrounded by pine trees and just a short drive from the Ardent ski lift. Completed in 2021, this contemporary yet welcoming chalet sleeps up to 10 adults and 3 children across five beautifully designed bedrooms, four of which are ensuite, with the fifth enjoying its own private bathroom. Every bedroom opens onto a balcony, making it easy to soak up the mountain air and stunning Alpine views from morning to evening.
The heart of the chalet is its spacious open-plan living and dining area, where double-height ceilings and large windows fill the room with natural light. A modern, fully equipped kitchen makes dining effortless, whether guests are preparing meals themselves or choosing to book a private chef or meal delivery service. The inviting snug on the mezzanine offers a cosy space for children or a quiet spot to relax with a book. After a day on the slopes, guests can unwind in the outdoor hot tub overlooking the river, or gather by the fire for a relaxed evening in.
Each bedroom has been thoughtfully styled to blend modern comfort with Alpine charm. The master suite, in particular, is designed as a romantic escape, featuring a queen bed, private balcony, and a luxurious bathroom complete with a free-standing roll-top bath and double rainfall shower. The additional bedrooms provide equally comfortable retreats, ensuring privacy and peace for families or groups.
Practical features include a ski and boot room, secure bike storage in the garage, a 3kW EV charging point, and WiFi with Netflix. Available year-round on a self-catered basis with flexible stays of three nights or more, Chalet Rivière combines elegant interiors with a serene location, creating a calming sanctuary just minutes from the bustle of Morzine and the expansive Portes du Soleil ski area.
Chalet Rivière is available for short breaks on the following dates: 13–21 December 2025, 4–25 January 2026, 15–29 March 2026, and 12–19 April 2026. Pricing varies depending on the dates and duration of stay, so please contact us to enquire.

Getting to the lifts is effortless with the chalet’s slope transfer service, also offered as an add-on. An 8-seater minibus transports guests and their equipment comfortably and safely, saving time and removing the hassle of buses or carrying gear—ideal for families or larger groups.

LOCATION
Chalet Rivière enjoys a tranquil position in the Montriond area of Morzine, offering both peace and easy access to the best of the Portes du Soleil. In the summer months, guests can stroll to Montriond in around 15 minutes, where they’ll find a selection of bars, restaurants, and local shops. For a longer walk, the beautiful Lac Montriond is just 30 minutes on foot — a stunning Alpine lake that’s perfect for swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding, or simply relaxing in the sunshine.
In winter, the chalet is ideally placed for accessing the slopes. Guests can make use of the free Montriond bus service, with stops around a 9–10 minute walk away, or opt for a private slope transfer service in an eight-seater minibus, available for six days of return runs. Drivers will find parking directly at the chalet, with Montriond only two minutes away, Morzine centre around eight minutes by car, and the Ardent téléphérique just a short drive, offering fast access into Avoriaz, Châtel and the Swiss resorts.
This balance of serenity and convenience makes Chalet Rivière a wonderful base — combining riverside calm with effortless access to both summer adventures and world-class skiing.
