INSIDE THE CHALET

Ferme à Jules, originally built in 1808, is a beautifully restored farmhouse and one of the most admired chalets in the Morzine area. Sleeping up to 26 guests across 10 spacious en-suite bedrooms, it blends historic Alpine character with modern luxury. Despite its impressive scale, the chalet retains a warm and inviting atmosphere, with cosy seating areas, a roaring log fire, and wraparound balconies offering sweeping views of the valley.

The interiors blend traditional Savoyard charm with contemporary comfort, creating an atmosphere that is both elegant and homely. Large communal spaces provide the perfect setting for sociable gatherings, while quiet reading corners allow guests to retreat and unwind. After an active day, the outdoor hot tub and sauna offer a welcome place to relax, surrounded by mountain scenery.

The chalet’s bedrooms are thoughtfully distributed across three floors, comfortably accommodating 20 adults and 6 children. On the ground floor, four rooms open onto broad balconies with sweeping valley views; Ardenchet offers double or twin beds, while Le Latay, Le Chenau, and Les Gueritolles each feature double or twin beds plus bunk beds for children. This floor also houses a sauna and a large outdoor hot tub, perfect for post-mountain relaxation. The middle floor contains two further en-suite bedrooms, Les Félires and La Combette, both with double or twin beds. The top floor is home to the remaining four en-suite bedrooms—Les Bourdets, La Courdray, Le Platon, and La Riandet—along with cosy reading and relaxing areas, providing comfort, privacy, and plenty of space for families and groups.

Communal spaces are at the heart of Ferme à Jules. The expansive dining area is ideal for pre-mountain breakfasts or evening feasts, whether enjoying a five-star catered experience in winter or preparing a gourmet self-catered meal. Large French doors and wide windows frame panoramic mountain views, and high wooden-beamed ceilings enhance the sense of space and light. The living area is equally impressive, with plush sofas, a warming log fire, and French doors opening onto balconies that offer stunning vistas across the valley—perfect for quiet mornings with coffee or evening conversations with friends as the sun sets. A TV and games corner provides entertainment for children and adults alike, while a smaller kitchen mirrors the dining room for added convenience.

Ferme à Jules also offers a separate bar, multiple quiet reading areas, balconies with seating, a ski and boot room, Wi-Fi, and TV with Netflix. The chalet is available as a catered retreat in winter and self-catered in summer. For the hot tub, summer guests may opt in for use, while in winter, spring, and autumn there is the option to opt out for a discount.
