October half term is here and you are stuck at home with the kids whilst they create havoc through your house. Bet you wish you had taken them away now don’t you? The bad news is that before you’ve even recovered from this one the next half term will soon be upon us. Don’t panic though, there is a solution to your problem. Why not take them away somewhere where they can work off all that energy. Why not take them skiing?
Skiing is a great way of working off youthful energy in clean alpine air. Fresh powder, tobogganing, laughter and snowman building are just some of the fun memories you will make.
Easter is very late in 2017 so many families are opting to ski February half term which means availability is selling quickly! If you are thinking of skiing with the family then we would advise you book now.
Whether you opt for a catered chalet where thankfully you can put your feet up and watch your Chef do the cooking or self catered and enjoy the flexibility of eating when you like, we can find you a home from home for the week.
Where to ski? Well February is a fantastic month for snow coverage so you can’t go far wrong. Just check you have Driver Service, good free ski buses or even a short walk as you will always end up carrying all the kids ski gear as well as yours!
Childcare? Well nearly all ski schools have fluent English speaking instructors or even British run ski schools in many resorts. We can find out where the best crèche / kindergarten is or even find you a nanny. Most 3 year olds have strong enough legs to try out skiing and their classes are adapted to make it feel like playing with plenty of pit stops for tired limbs. There are some great ski programmes for bored teenagers that let them try out all the snow disciplines to keep them engaged and even some specific Snowpark lessons. This gives you the time to brush up your skills or head down that black or even sneak back to the chalet Jacuzzi for some me time.
We have lots of chalet availability for Half Term which is generally 11th / 12th February 2017 and plenty more not on our website. Please give us a call or email today, with your requirements, and we will email over our “Hot Half Term” list tailored for you.
