NOT TOO LATE TO SKI EASTER 

With many alpine resorts enjoying another 50cm of snow this week there really hasn’t been a better time to get the skis and snowboard back out of the garage, bag a great ski deal and head for the hills, care of Chalet Ski Holidays!

APRIL SKIING

April of course isn’t just about skiing, despite the fantastic snow conditions. Long, sunny days means skiing and snowboarding can be combined with long lunches. Lifts open around 8.45am in most resorts, and in april most people ski that little bit longer, and as the slopes start to soften slightly, typically in higher resorts around 1.30pm to 2:00pm, find your favourite terrace for a late lunch, beers and wine (and don’t forget the sun cream(!)). Families will love it too, children sledging and playing in the snow, while you kickback on the deck chairs and enjoy the views (it is also very pleasant in the mornings for beginners as the temperatures are that little bit warmer).
